                       DECEMBER 28 - the PHILIPPINE CATHOLIC equivalent of APRIL FOOL's DAY

 

             It has been almost a year now since my brain has seemingly been born into a second birth.  My memory just keep on replaying significant details and events in my 53 years of  this life's journey.  I think the MONA VIE has helped in the energy and memory bank department as well.  I remember drinking it for the first time in January 01, 2008.  I still believe, GOD sent it to me as an earthly help.

            Today, December 28, 2008, as I was reading today's NLT reading on Zechariah, Revelation, Psalms and Proverbs, I glanced at my tiny calendar on the wall by me.  The date flashed a custom we had in the Philippines when this date comes. 

            "NINOS INNOCENTES" is when and how we celebrate the feast of the "INNOCENT CHILDREN".  December 28 is our equivalent to the "APRIL FOOL's day".  This is the day we say "SILLY or TALL TALES".

This is the day we ACT, play JOKES, legitimately "WHITE LIE" and pull the most CREATIVE PRANKS with our GUT-GOD level friends and loved ones.  This is the TEST of HOW GUT-GOD level friends indeed we are to those who pull JOKES or PRANKS on us.  ANNOYED, DECEIVED, OUTRAGED, ENRAGED, the people are sifted.  CONFIDENT, SECURED, UNAFFECTED but HUMBLED, the JOYFUL remnants move on...CHUCKLE in countennance. In a discerning way, they too feel victorious they have the GIFT of DISCERNMENT.  CONFIDENT ASSURANCE JESUS is MINE.

              "WISDOM" is looking at "LIFE" from GOD's perspective.

                The fear of the LORD is the BEGINNING of WISDOM.

                FAITH is the HOPE in the THINGS yet to come. INVISIBLE. INTANGIBLE.

                CHILDLIKE FAITH..."NINOS INNOCENTES" kind of FAITH...is what JESUS said is DEAR to HIM.

                Would you rather be an innocent child, or a FOOL?

        

                A fool says in his teeny tiny CREATED heart, there is no god!
